Paradis Urbain founded UP House in Montreal in 2010, championing the International Clubhouse Model—an award-winning model of psychosocial rehabilitation. Through governance, fundraising, and impactful initiatives such as the Au Contraire Film Festival and UPBEAT, we provide unwavering support to UP House. Together, we embrace the Clubhouse Model to enhance well-being, create opportunities, and dismantle the barriers of social and economic isolation for individuals profoundly impacted by mental health challenges.

Our Journey
Our Journey
Paradis Urbain has funded and governed UP House for the past 13 years, weaving hope, heart, and community into the lives of those navigating long-term mental health challenges on their journey to recovery. We have touched the lives of over 900 Members, fostering a community of resilience and healing in Montreal. Here are our initiatives.
We are grateful to the compassionate family of donors, dedicated foundations, the unwavering support from Let’s Bond, and the crucial backing from the Québec government Programme de soutien aux organismes communautaires (PSOC).
